Vår Energi has awarded an EPCI contract to Subsea 7 for the Goliat Gas Export project in the Barents Sea, offshore Norway. The project will connect Goliat field to the Equinor-operated Hammerfest LNG plant at Melkøya via the existing Snøhvit pipeline system. Scope covers engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a 12.7-km, 10-inch carbon steel pipeline and associated subsea tie-in infrastructure. Project management and engineering begin immediately from Stavanger; offshore operations are planned for 2027–2028. Contract value is estimated between $150 million and $300 million.
